WORLD PEACE DAY ;)

Our school had organized a 'WORLD PEACE' art competition on CERAMIC TILES ! Great to say that the project that we did was successful. Once again thanks for all of you who are willing to took part in this competition and also thanks for the interacters ;)

The New Board Elected 2012/2013

We had our Agm on 17th July 2012 in the Mathematics Room

So It's the time for all form five students to retire and the brand new board are going to take over them. Congratulation to all the new board.;) We will give out the BEST service as the Interactor of PGS .

SMC Installation Day

A year had passed , and yea , here comes the SMC Installation Day again . Time really flies like nobody's business . *sigh*

It was held in last Sunday (16 July 2012) at Royal Ipoh Club . We had so much fun with the new boards . Wish them good luck in their fiscal year . =)

IU Day of SMK Jalan Tasek

So we Interactors of PGS attended the IU Day of SMK Jalan Tasek . It was quite fun , and we got to know so many new friends during this IU Day .

Talent Quest 2012

It was a night everyone will never forget. It was a night that had made history in eleven wonderful teenager's life. On the 21st of April 2012, the Perak Girls' School's Interact Club had once again, organised a tremendous event..

The Talent Quest 2012.

The school's interactors had worked very hard and had successfully sold out loads of tickets for the event. They had sacrificed their time and effort for the sake of the event. On that very night, a massive amount of people had gathered outside of the Leong Wan Chin hall. Everyone of them were there to give their moral support to their beloved friend who had made it to the finals.

The event soon started when everyone had made their entrance into the hall and had their seats. The crowd was unimaginably huge and with this, the event was already partially a success. Lights off and the emcees, Susan Song and Ngau Joey welcomed everyone to the talent quest before thanking them for the support to the club. Their appearance on the stage was followed by the crowd's applause. The girls, a little nervous at first, had courageously became the two emcees that had made the audiences' night.

Soon, the night's most interesting part had took place. Sherlyn Kang, the first contestant made her appearance on the stage with the song 'The Last Song'. The gorgeous girl sang with a breathtaking voice which made everyone to cheer for her. Theresa Meaylin from Perak Girls' School, audaciously stood on the stage as the second contestant who had made the crowd screamed with excitement. The pretty girl who sang the song '伤不起' had the audiences went into extreme wildness. The Perak Girls' School girl, Looi Ni Ying will indeed, make a great singer out of her beautiful voice. The emcees then had Chow Shu Qing from their school onstage to entertain the crowd. The fifth contestant, Yong Chee Mun didn't shame her school. She sang with such a voice that can make your heart melt!!!!

Cheering for the five lovely girl was indeed tiring. The emcees announced that food and drinks will be sold by the school's inteactors at the end of the hall and that it was break time for everyone. During break time, interactors can be seen everywhere, selling voting tickets to everyone. It was clear that the girls had committed a lot for the success of the event.

After the break, our special guest, Peace张艺博 had a performance on stage. Whistles can be heard and his name was shouted numerous times by his fans. He even had a little poster-throwing for his fans. Peace's performance was soon followed by Aric何志健's. He had a little dance and sang a few songs. Aric's fans never disappointed him. They cheered for him as if he was god. The whole hall went crazy for the two idols.

D'One Dance crew also performed during that night before the competition resumes. Their dancing was indeed, splendid!

Brendon Tan's appearance on the stage with his piano can make any girl faint! The Sam Tet boy was one of the most famous participants. We can actually hear the crowds shouting for his name as if he is a celebrity. Well, he's not the only Sam Tet boy who got all the fame. The only paired contestants, Lee Jia Jun and Yue Xian Long had a guitar played while singing. They were pretty popular too! After that, we had a Taylor Swift's fan singing ' Back To December'. Cheryl Kang from Main Convent will totally make her idol proud of her as she stood on the stage with mettlesome.

The second last contestant, Voon Yoong Chin is not far behind Brendon. His soft and touching love song made the crowd waved their hands in silence. Last but not least, we had 'Bleeding Love' by the gorgeous Roxana Huen from Methodist Girls' School.

And with this, all the participants had their songs sang and the emcees announced for the second break. Everyone especially the contestants waited nervously for the final results.

Soon, the moment everyone was waiting had come. The results were finally in the emcees hand. They invited the Perak Girls' School's Interact Club's teacher advisor, Madam Kalaivani. First, the consolation prizes were given to eight contestants. Sherlyn Kang, Theresa Meaylin, Looi Ni Ying, Yong Chee Mun, Lee Jia Jun and Yue Xian Long, Cheryl Kang and Roxana Huen had received their consolation prizes.

And finally, the remaining ones are Chow Shu Qing, Brendon Tan and Voon Yoong Chin. Who will be the winner of the competition?

Chow Shu Qing stepped out to receive her second runner up award as the emcees announced her name. And when the first runner up's name was to be announced, two names were shouted. "Brendon! Brendon!" and "Yoong Chin! Yoong Chin!". In fact, the ACS-ians shouted for Brendon's name and the Sam Tet boys shouted for Yoong Chin's name. ACS-ians wanted Brendon to get second and Sam Tet boys, the other way round. At last, when Brendon's name was announced as the first runner up, all the ACS-ians jumped in joy. The result was obvious. Voon Yoong Chin was the winner and he received the award proudly from the president of Interact Club .

Before the event ended, all eleven participants sang a song together on stage and congratulated each other. They all know that the result was not important. What matters the most is that they all had fun and had gained a memorable experience. The emcees bid goodbye to everyone and once again, thank everyone for succeeding the event.

The event is indeed a great success. The club would like to thank all the interactors for the effort and the participants who took part. Everyone's support is what had made this event another history.

SMC IU Day

Their theme for this year was "Passage to India" , the IU Day started at 8:30am . The passage to India was truly emphasized and the dances were spectacular !

Around 600 Interactors,Leos and SMC-ians were in the hall.

SMI Leo CLub 7th Anniversary

So we interactors(Alexis,Allison,Khor,ChooiJin,YinNee,Joey,ZiQiu and Joanne) of PGS went to this event on 17th of March 2012.This event started with the lion dance performance !

Talent Quest 2012

Talent Quest is back ! This singing competition is open to students in ipoh between 13-17yrs old .

Talent Quest回来啦！这个唱歌比赛是公开给13至17岁的怡保学生的。

Prizes:
Winner : RM300+voucher+trophy
First-Runner-Up : RM200+voucher+trophy
Second-Runner-Up :RM100+voucher+trophy
Top 10 :medal+voucher

Participating Rules and Regulations

1) All contestants are required to follow the rules and regulations of this competition.Those who ignore the rules will be disqualified.

2) Please make sure that you are able to attend the competition on the following dates,those who are absent   will be disqualified

3) Date&Time: Audition – 20 March 2012 (2-4pm)
                        Semi-Final – 27 March 2012 (2-4pm)
                        Final – 21 April 2012(7-10pm)

4) Registration fees : Solo – RM10
    Group- RM15 (2-4 people)

5) Contestants are required to submit the registration forms and fees by 19 March 2012 .

6) Contestants are not allowed to change the details including the song of their choice once the forms are       xxsubmitted.

7) Contestants are only allowed to sing in the following languages :
    -English
    -Chinese
    -Malay
    *Song which contains violent and vulgar languages is not allowed.

8) The judges' decision is final.

9) Contestants must seek permission from parents to participate in this competition.

10)Contestants must wear appropriate attire .

4）报名费：个人-RM10
    组别-RM15

5）参赛者须在3月19日前交上报名表格和费。

6）一旦交上报名表格，参赛者不可以更改其资料包括曲目。

7）参赛者选择的歌曲直可以是华语，英语或马来语的。
歌曲不可有关暴力或粗口。

8）评审的决定是最后的决定。

9）参赛者须得到父母同意才可参加。

10）参赛者须穿适当的衣服。
