Rotary Club Student Exchange Program

As interactors , we also get the opportunity to be a part of this so called " Student Exchange Program "
It means that you're going to be exploring around the world , and try out different cultures , livings and all sort of exciting activities in a different country FARRRRR AWAY from your hometown which is organized by the Rotary Club. Students can either pick to stay for a short-term or the long-term. Students get to experience with different cultures and language. The student typically lives with multiple host families during the year and is expected to perform daily tasks within the household as well as attend school in the host country. The number of host families can vary, but three is the most common number. Short term exchange programs are also quite common. These typically involve direct student exchanges between two families arranged through Rotary to coincide with major school holiday periods.

Students must follow the rules and regulations given / stated
 by the Rotary Club.
For more information you can always log on to the Rotary Club website by clicking
HERE >>   Official Rotary Club Site.

:) Have an awesome day everyone!
Ciaos!

Rotary Club

As interactors , we must and should know what a Rotary Club is.It is due to Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs.

Rotary International is an organization of service clubs known as Rotary Club located all over the world. The stated purpose of the organization is to bring together business and professional leaders to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, gender, or political preference. There are 33,976 clubs and over 1.22 million members worldwide. The members of Rotary Clubs are known as Rotarians. Members usually meet weekly for breakfast, lunch or dinner, which is a social event as well as an opportunity to organize work on their service goals.
Rotary's primary motto is "Service above Self", and its secondary motto is "One profits most who serves best"

That's all for now I guess ? =)
See you all in the next post =D

What is an Interact Club?

Hey readers, sorry for the lack of updates.Let's talk about Interact Club today. =)

Interact Club
Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
Club membership varies greatly. Clubs can be single gender or mixed, large or small. They can draw from the student body of a single school or from two or more schools in the same community.
Each year, Interact clubs complete at least two community service projects, one of which furthers international understanding and goodwill. Through these efforts, Interactors develop a network of friendships with local and overseas clubs and learn the importance of
  • Developing leadership skills and personal integrity
  • Demonstrating helpfulness and respect for others
  • Understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work
  • Advancing international understanding and goodwill
As one of the most significant and fastest-growing programs of Rotary service, with more than 10,700 clubs in 109 countries and geographical areas, Interact has become a worldwide phenomenon. Almost 200,000 young people are involved in Interact.

Bet you know more bout the Interact Club now.
Gtg,see ya soon =)
